How to Measure Your Container

Do you have your own planter(s)? Follow these easy steps to make sure our drop in insert is the right fit for your seasonal planter subscription. (Delivered Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.) Your insert will be the same each season, unless you request a change.

  1. Using a tape measure, measure the top of your planter: If your planter is round, measure the inside diameter at the top of the planter. If your planter is square, measure the inside of the planter. Do not include the rim of the planter in your measurement. Match it to the nearest Le Petit Planter insert width without going over. The first measurement in the product description of the Le Petit Planter insert is this number.
  1. Measure the bottom of your planter: If your planter is round, measure the inside diameter at the bottom of the planter or the inside width at the narrowest area of the planter. If your planter is square, measure one side of the inside at the bottom of your planter. The second measurement in the product description of the Le Petit Planter insert is this number.
  1. Measure the depth of your planter: Measure the inside depth of the planter from the bottom of the planter to the top rim of the planter. The third measurement in the product description of the Le Petit Planter insert is this number.

Your own container needs to have a drainage hole to allow water to drain, as it needs to be watered regularly. It will not thrive without drainage.
